OK! I am a fit and healthy Prince loving 54 year old Grandmother of 4. I have spent the best part of this week (while not working (and even whilst working!) or being on Grannie duty), tweeting, orging and FB'ing (as have we all I'm sure), in the hope that there might be some news.

In my head, all week, I've been saving Saturday and Sunday to drop everything, travel 160 miles to London (in the most horrendous storm if the Met Office are to be believed) and hopefully party on down!

Now it is Friday, can I really be bothered? Do I really want to hang around in the city, checking my phone all day to try and find out what is happening, then queue in the rain for hours? It's not like I haven't seen him before (many times), and although I would love to witness Prince with 3EG it just all seems like a bit of a chore now!! Is it my age that is making me feel like this? I hope not!!!

Can I resist? Should I resist?

I'm 44 today and after going on Wednesday and experiencing the crush outside, I wouldn't be too keen to face the same again. But if I heard there was a show this weekend, we all know I'd do everything I could to be there, so who am I to try and convince you not to go? Do it, you can be a granny again on Monday.

You guys seeing the Twitter campaign to get Pretzlbodylogic into the Top 10 ? It was was only just in the top 100 this morning ... now after a few hours tweetin' its top 30.

The only day i'm off work this week (yes Prince, most people DO work!) although it's great news it's not raining it's less great news there's been no news on a gig tonight!

I am trying to decide whether I should travel up to London this afternoon on the offchance that there will be a show announced... or stay firmly put until we have some solid info.

Of course, it's probably one of those situations where whatever I do, it will turn out that I should have done the opposite!

I was in the queue at Camden yesterday and mid afternoon we were hearing there was going to be 2 shows. A couple of hours before we went in, we were being told everyone in the queue would get in, so it was planned to do 2 shows quite early on I think.

I was also talking to guy in the queue who was friends with the manager at Ronnie Scott's...there is no way he would have queued for 5 hours at Camden if Ronnie Scott's had been planned.

Finally I really do not beleive that Prince would get turned away from Ronnie Scott's. Can you imagine the doorman refusing him entry ..... come on!
